Peripheral Visions
In my photographic work, I am captivated by the often-overlooked corners of a city—the periphery that lies beyond its bustling centre and popular destinations. My lens is drawn to the ordinary and the forgotten, buildings, places and streets that reside in the shadows of new urban developments. It is within these overlooked spaces that I find beauty, intrigue, and a sense of being on the outside, observing the world from a unique vantage point. My photography serves as a visual journey that celebrates the life and narratives that thrive on the outskirts. By capturing these fragments of less visited streets and places, I hope to offer viewers a fresh perspective, provoking contemplation, and inviting them to embrace the rich tapestry of existence that unfolds beyond the well-trodden paths.
